В статье автор рассматривает конституционно-правовые и организационные особенности статуса республик. Анализирует положения конституций республик, касающиеся основ конституционного строя и государственного устройства. Выявляет основные тенденции перспектив конституционного развития республик в составе Российской Федерации.

PECULIARITIES OF THE STATUS OF REPUBLICS AS PARTS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

In the article, the author examines constitutional, legal and organizational peculiarities of the status of republics. He analyzes the provisions of the constitutions of the republics concerning the foundation of the constitutional form of government and public administration. He reveals basic trends of prospects for constitutional development of the republics as parts of the Russian Federation.
