He reveals basic trends of prospects for constitutional development of the republics as parts of the Russian Federation.

URGENT ISSUES IN SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PROCESSES OF BURYAT PEOPLE (THE CASE OF AGINSKY BURYAT DISTRICT)
In the article, the author examines national policy pursued by the Russian government and social and cultural problems linked to it. Through the example of Aginsky Buryat District, he analyzes the influence of interrelation of ethnicity and civilian identity on the formation of the Buryat people and their contemporary social and cultural processes. He studies the tendencies peculiar to social and cultural processes in the Aginsky Buryat District.
