THE INFLUENCE OF POLITICAL FACTORS ON THE DYNAMICS OF INCOMING INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC MOBILITY IN MODERN RUSSIA
The level of international influence of states today largely depends on how developed their instruments of "soft power" are. One of these tools is to attract foreign applicants to study at national universities. Based on this, the article examines the phenomenon of incoming international academic mobility in Russia in the context of the impact of the specific conditions of the country's political environment. The aim of the study is to study the political factors and prerequisites for the admission of foreign students to Russian universities. The work uses such research methods as systematization and classification of material, analysis of secondary statistical data. The authors identified and characterized the political determinants that determine the dynamics of the number of students from abroad. As a conclusion of the article, the conclusion was formulated that the combination of internal and external political factors influences in different directions the structure and dynamics of incoming international academic mobility in the Russian Federation. After analyzing the existing global trends, we can say that while maintaining the action of the factors described in the work in the medium term, Russian incoming international academic mobility will face significant changes.

THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FOOD RATION OF THE PEASANT POPULATION OF THE NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE RYAZAN GUBERNIA IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF ZARAISKY, KASIMOVSKY, MIKHAILOVSKY, SKOPINSKY, RANENBURG COUNTIES)
Today, more and more people are beginning to deal with the reconstruction of the traditional way of life at the amateur and professional level. The issues of restoring the life of different segments of the population affect the topics of clothing, housing, and food. Recently, the theme of food is becoming increasingly popular among reenactors. Our study will solve the problem of restoring the diet of the peasants of the Ryazan province in the 2nd half. XIX century. And also, for an accurate understanding of the difference in the food ration of the peasants of the province in question, it will be necessary to conduct a comparative analysis of the tables of the Steppe and the Northern side among the village population. To solve these issues, the following steps were taken: first, an analysis of the economy of the Ryazan province was carried out, differences in its development were identified, second, statistical sources were studied to determine the food ration of the peasant population, and third, the daily and festive tables of a number of counties were described and differences in them were identified. When analyzing the data obtained, it became possible to determine the reasons for the differences in the food of the peasants. The results of the study allow us to reconstruct the food of the village population in the second half of the XIX century, and this material can also be used in museum practice, when introducing it into the excursion text.

TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATIONS AS ACTORS OF WORLD POLITICS: PROBLEMS OF TERMINOLOGICAL DEFINITION
According to UNCTAD, in 2020 large transnational corporations (TNCs) control a third of world production and world trade, they employ over 20% of the workforce [8], and they are often key investors in national economies. These data indicate that TNCs today have tremendous power, but not everyone really understands what TNCs are, since there are difficulties with the conceptual apparatus of this term. The existing problem of the "blurring" of the term TNC is also due to the fact that the absence of a clear definition of the subject of the contract provokes misunderstandings between the actors, and as a result, there is a "blur" of the responsibility of TNCs. The article proposes to consider the main approaches to the definition of TNCs, to highlight the features that characterize TNCs as transnational actors in world politics and to present the classification of TNCs, and the authors of the work have developed their own definition of TNCs.

PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF US-CUBAN RELATIONS UNDER JOE BIDEN
The purpose of the study was to analyze the evolution of US-Cuban relations at the present stage, to determine the potential and prospects for the normalization of relations, taking into account a complex of internal and external factors. When analyzing the development of American-Cuban relations, a systemic-historical approach was applied. As a result of the study, the author was able to analyze the approach of the Biden administration to relations with Cuba and assess the prospects for improving relations. The author came to the conclusion that in the near future Biden does not consider the possibility of returning to normalization of relations and active interaction with Cuba, being guided primarily by the interests of the internal political struggle in the United States. In this regard, the normalization of US-Cuban relations is postponed at least until the re-election of the president.
